As usual the last weekend in June 25 and 26 from about noon to noon.
The Central Ohio Amateur Radio Emergency Service club (COARES.org) will again be at St. Andrew Christian Church, 1985 Swansford Road at the corner of Smokey Row. Visitors welcome.
From I-270 on the north Side exit #20 (Sawmill) if eastbound or exit #22 (Rt. 315) if westbound. In either case turn north for about 0.5 mile.
Turn right on Hard Road from Sawmill, or left (up the hill) from Rt. 315. Go a couple of miles to the small shopping center at Smokey Row Road and turn north between the CVS and the UDF stores. The Church will be on the left in 0.4 miles.
We will have room for camping, parking and campers as well as 24-hour access to the church restrooms. Bring a copy of your license to operate or you can talk on the radios if a licensed operator is operating the radio. We will share food and probably eat about every six hours.
This is a fun contest and a good chance to try out our portable antennas and bands at all times of the day and night. We should contact most or all states and a few interesting other countries. One year we were surprised to be contacted by King Hussein JY2--just another ham on the air (King of Jordan).
